Matthew Menke
Founder & Senior Wealth Consultant
I grew up in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, during a period of visible, rapid growth. The commerce and development around me sparked an early curiosity I never outgrew: why do people with comparable incomes arrive at such different destinations? The answer, I came to understand, had far less to do with luck than with the quality of the decisions made along the way.
I entered the financial services industry in 1997 and have spent nearly three decades working with individuals, families, and business owners at every stage of their financial lives. My career began at American Express Financial Advisors and IDS Life, continued through roughly two decades with Royal Alliance and its successor, Osaic, and moved to LPL Financial in 2024. That move broadened the platform available to my clients while leaving the advisory relationship unchanged. I hold the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation from The American College of Financial Services.
Most clients come to me having made solid decisions in isolation over the years. What they often lack is a structure that ties those decisions together into a plan with direction and staying power. My work covers investment portfolio management, retirement income and distribution planning, legacy planning, and tax-aware withdrawal sequencing. For business owners, I also provide guidance on transitioning out of a company and into retirement in a way that accounts for both the financial and the personal dimensions of that shift.
Every client's financial picture reflects a life story. Learning that story is what makes it possible to build something worth following.
I live in Cape May, New Jersey, with my wife, Marguerite. Together we have run a cat rescue and fostered dogs for more than fifteen years, and I volunteer as a dog walker at our local animal shelter. Our shared commitment to family and community runs through the way I think about legacy planning and the conversations I have with clients working through those same questions.
Outside the office, I coach and mentor youth through boxing, having helped run an inner-city club for years before opening my own gym. Watching those young people grow into business owners, law enforcement officers, and steady contributors to their communities remains among the most grounding work of my life. I am a charter member of the local Kiwanis Club, a past president of both the local Chamber of Commerce and the local Harley-Davidson Owners Group, and a proud United States Navy veteran.
Showing up, building something with other people, and leaving things better than you found them are principles I carry into this practice every day.
